Mandarin Interpreter - Construction Site
Position requires to be on-site. This is a W-2, salaried role, benefits eligible.
Summary:
- Job Position: Interpreter (Mandarin)
- Salary: $70,000-75,000+ additional compensation for OT.
- Shift: Day Shift - 5/10s could shift to 6/10's
- Location: Glendale, KY
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Will provide interpreter/administrative tasks associated to a Construction Site in support of all employees who require English to Mandarin interpretation.
- Walking or standing for multiple hours at a construction site/location.
- Administrative work in the office/orientations/trainings.
- 2-year-long project
- Will be on their feet a majority of the day on a construction site, moving about
- High fluency in Mandarin
Requirements:
- MUST be fluent in Mandarin (Chinese)
- Prefer local to the project but will do per diem
- Ability to start this project ASAP
- Must have excellent writing and computer skills
- Great communication - written & verbally
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Interpreter/Translator
- Willingness to complete administrative tasks as required
- Minimum 5 years professional/technical translating.
- Project up to 2 years.
