Key Responsibilities:
- Document, implement, maintain, and update the organization’s Integrated HSE Management System (HSEMS), including policies, processes, and procedures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of HSE policies and initiatives.
- Plan and conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
- Monitor, measure, and report HSE performance metrics and key indicators.
- Organize and facilitate periodic HSE review meetings to discuss incidents, progress on initiatives, and continuous improvement plans.
- Identify, monitor, and ensure compliance with all applicable HSE legal and regulatory requirements.
- Review, update, and maintain HSE management plans and risk assessments.
- Ensure all incidents, near misses, and non-conformances are reported, investigated, and analyzed, with corrective and preventive actions implemented.
- Support internal and external HSE audits, including follow-up and closure of corrective actions.
- Conduct and support root cause analysis for incidents and non-conformances and drive effective mitigation measures.
Role Requirements / Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of HSE policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- 5-12 years of relevant experience in HSE / EHS / Safety roles, preferably within facilities or corporate environments.
- Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
