Job Title:
Business Head – Environment, Health & Social (EHS) Services.
Role Summary:
Head – EHS Services is responsible for leading and scaling the EHS Business. This role drives clients’ regulatory compliance delivery on time related to EHS Domain, effective management of client relationships and oversees operational excellence across internal & external stakeholders. Responsible for Business Growth with more lead generation among existing client base.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Growth:
· Define and execute the business strategy for EHS services.
· Identify new market opportunities in environmental compliance, occupational health & safety, and social audits.
· Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
· Develop new service offerings aligned with regulatory and industry trends.
2. Operations & Service Delivery:
· Oversee end-to-end delivery of EHS compliance and advisory services.
· Ensure timely execution of licenses, registrations, audits, and inspections.
· Standardize processes, SOPs and digital platforms for efficiency.
· Monitor SLAs and client deliverables.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
· Ensure adherence to applicable laws such as:
· Environment Protection regulations
· Occupational Safety, Health & Working Conditions Code (OSHWC)
· Labour laws and social compliance frameworks
· Keep track of regulatory changes and align services accordingly.
4. Client & Stakeholder Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
· Lead high-level compliance discussions and advisory engagements.
· Handle escalations and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building:
· Lead cross-functional teams (operations, compliance, consulting, tech support).
· Build second-line leadership and strengthen team capabilities.
· Drive performance management, training, and knowledge development.
6. Technology & Process Transformation
· Promote automation/digital tools for compliance tracking, audits and reporting.
· Collaborate with tech teams for system enhancements (e.g., compliance platforms).
· Ensure data security, confidentiality, and system efficiency.
7. Financial Management
· Manage P&L for the EHS business vertical.
· Optimize cost structures and improve margins.
· Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
8. Risk Management & Governance
· Identify operational, legal, and reputational risks.
· Ensure audit readiness (ISMS, QMS, internal audits).
· Implement governance frameworks and compliance controls.
