Role Description The Entrepreneur in Residence (Operations & Delivery) at Xelron is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role focuses on owning end-to-end delivery of AI projects, including scoping requirements, defining execution plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet timelines and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and refining operational processes, tracking project milestones, managing stakeholder communication, and proactively resolving delivery risks or bottlenecks. The Entrepreneur in Residence will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure smooth handoffs, alignment on objectives, and efficient resource utilization. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve internal workflows, implementing best practices in project management, and supporting leadership in scaling operations for multiple concurrent engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong operations, project management, and delivery management skills, with experience owning end-to-end execution in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and maintain clear communication across product, engineering, and business functions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with data-driven decision-making and prioritization under ambiguity.
- Experience building or optimizing processes, workflows, and frameworks for scalable, repeatable project delivery.
- Background working with technology or AI-driven products is highly beneficial; familiarity with AI concepts, data pipelines, or software development lifecycles is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, initiative, and flexibility to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field; advanced degrees or equivalent practical experience are welcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad in a collaborative team setting.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years running operations or delivery, services, or a high-volume marketplace
- Direct experience managing distributed contributor
- Track record of managing managers, not just individuals
- Willing to make unpopular calls on people and defend them with numbers
- Bonus: Python or SQL, experience with startup ops in a company over 100 people
