About The Wedding Company (TWC)
The Wedding Company (TWC) is a tech-enabled, full-stack wedding planning platform, executing ₹150 Cr+ in annual wedding service orders across multiple cities. We are building a category-defining company in the wedding ecosystem—combining operations, technology, and experience design at scale.
About the Role
This role sits at the CEO’s Office, working directly with the founder on high-impact finance and business problems.
This is not a conventional internship. You will operate as an owner, working across investor relations, business finance, and execution in a fast-scaling, multi-city environment.
You will gain a front-row view into how a high-growth company is built—from numbers to decisions to outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investor Relations & Fundraising
- Own investor reporting, dashboards, and updates
- Support ongoing and new fundraising conversations
- Prepare materials including financial summaries, MIS, and data rooms
2. Business Finance & P&L Ownership
- Build, track, and analyze city-level P&Ls
- Identify key drivers of revenue, costs, and profitability
- Translate data into sharp business insights and actions
3. Finance Operations
- Drive financial discipline across a multi-city operation
- Improve processes around collections, payments, and reporting
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial data
4. Cross-functional Execution
- Work closely with city teams, planning teams, and leadership
- Manage stakeholders across internal and external ecosystems
- Ensure alignment between finance and operations
5. Problem Solving & Strategic Projects
- Solve ambiguous, unstructured problems quickly
- Work on high-priority CEO-led initiatives
- Build frameworks, models, and systems from scratch
Who Should Apply
- Strong interest in finance, startups, and building businesses
- High ownership mindset—thinks like a founder, not an intern
- Analytical thinker with comfort in numbers and data
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Demonstrates curiosity—reads, questions, and goes deeper than most
What You’ll Gain
- Direct exposure to founder-level decision-making
- Real experience in fundraising, investor relations, and business finance
- Opportunity to work on live P&Ls and revenue-driving decisions
- A steep learning curve in a high-growth, execution-heavy environment
- Potential full-time role in the CEO’s Office / Finance function
