The Role: Entrepreneurial Resident / Investment Associate or Analyst
The given role is a high-impact role at the heart of NDude's investment engine. This is not a traditional analyst seat — it is a seat for someone who understands what it takes to run a business and can evaluate opportunities through both an operator's and investor's lens.
You will work directly with firm leadership to shape investment strategy, source and close deals, manage portfolio relationships, and help build NDude from the ground up. You'll be equal parts investor, operator, strategist, and relationship builder.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Own and continuously evolve the firm's investment roadmap, identifying target sectors and opportunity segments with an initial focus on Health & Wellness
- Build sharp, data-backed investment theses through deep research into market gaps, industry trends, and disruptive business models
- Track competitive landscapes, monitor emerging technologies, and surface insights that keep NDude ahead of the curve
- Translate macro and micro signals into actionable investment directions for leadership.
2. Deal Sourcing & Due Diligence
- Proactively scout high-potential startups and businesses aligned with NDude's investment mandate
- Represent NDude at industry events, investor summits, accelerators, and ecosystem networks to cultivate deal flow
- Participate in end-to-end due diligence across Financial, Tax, Legal, Operational, Technical, and Commercial workstreams
- Assess target companies' front-end fundamentals — sales strategy, market approach, customer acquisition, unit economics
- Engage and manage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate technical claims and market assumptions
3. Deal Execution & Portfolio support
- Assist in negotiating investment terms, deal structures, and term sheets that balance risk, return, and strategic fit
- Act as primary liaison with external partners — legal counsel, diligence consultants, bankers, and domain experts
- Ensure seamless transaction execution from LOI through to close with rigorous process management
- Establish and monitor governance frameworks including board structures, reporting cadences, and compliance processes
4. Internal Operations & Systems
- Manage the firm's live deal pipeline — tracking opportunities from first introduction through to close
- Own the CRM (Zoho) setup, customization, data hygiene, and ongoing management
- Identify and leverage research tools, market intelligence platforms (e.g. Tracxn, PitchBook), and software subscriptions
- Support leadership on special projects, alternative initiatives, and strategic planning as required.

v Must Have
- Strong investment analyst skills — financial modelling, valuation, deal analysis
- Entrepreneurial experience — supported, scaled, or operated a business.
- Experience in a Family Office environment (single or multi-family), especially start ups
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with cross-border travel and global business etiquette
- Familiarity with AI tools
- Growth mindset and analytical mindset.
