Role Description The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Credco Sourcing is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The EIR will identify new business opportunities, evaluate market segments, and design strategies to expand Credco Sourcing’s presence in the polymer industry. Typical responsibilities include conducting market and competitor analysis, testing new business models, building partnerships, and collaborating with leadership to develop and implement growth initiatives. The role involves creating business plans, validating product-market fit, and overseeing pilot projects from concept to execution. The EIR will also mentor internal teams, streamline processes, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in entrepreneurship, business development, or startup environments, ideally within manufacturing, materials, or industrial sectors.
- Strong skills in market research, financial analysis, and business model development to evaluate and design scalable growth opportunities.
- Ability to build and manage partnerships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders, with solid negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Proficiency in project management and execution, including setting milestones, managing resources, and measuring outcomes.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with a proactive, ownership-focused mindset and a willingness to experiment and learn.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in polymers, chemicals, or industrial supply chains is an advantage but not required.
