Company Description Launched in 2020 as a college project on Instagram, KaroStartup has grown into a global startup media platform with a community of 1M+ members. We showcase the real journeys of young founders, first-time entrepreneurs, and early-stage builders across Bharat — the struggles, pivots, failures, and wins that actually matter. We give India's next generation of entrepreneurs a stage to tell their story and build credibility.
Role Description We're looking for someone who doesn't just want a content job — they want to build the startup ecosystem itself. You'll work directly with founders, screen and engage with the startups applying to be featured, and help turn their stories into content that inspires the next wave of entrepreneurs.
This isn't a desk-only role. You'll be out talking to founders, running short-form podcast conversations, and shaping how KaroStartup tells India's startup story.
What We are Looking for: An entrepreneurial mindset — genuinely excited about building something from India, for India
Strong communication skills — comfortable talking to founders, not just editing content about them
Working knowledge of Canva and basic video editing
Organized, self-driven, able to manage multiple applications/conversations at once
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field
- Bonus: existing interest or curiosity about India's startup ecosystem
What You'll Do:
Talk to and screen startup founders applying to be featured on KaroStartup
Conduct short podcast-style interviews with founders
Ideate and create content (reels, carousels, founder stories)
Build and manage relationships within the startup ecosystem
Handle end-to-end content creation using Canva and basic video editing
Represent KaroStartup at founder meetups and community events
