Enterprise Sales/Account Manager – Data & AI

🚀 About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Enterprise Account Manager / Sales Specialist to join our growing Data & AI practice. In this role, you will be the primary driver of enterprise transformation, helping clients unlock the power of their data assets using Databricks and the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem. This is not a traditional software sales role; you will act as a strategic advisor to C-level executives, mapping complex business challenges to modern Data Architecture, Machine Learning, and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. You will champion the co-sell relationship with Microsoft and Databricks field teams to accelerate cloud consumption and drive long-term platform adoption
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Account Strategy & Growth
- Own and Grow the Portfolio: Manage and expand a dedicated portfolio of enterprise accounts, driving continuous net-new revenue and expansion opportunities
- Drive Consumption: Move clients from signed contracts to active platform usage, ensuring high retention and year-over-year consumption growth
- C-Suite Advisory: Build deep relationships with CIOs, CDOs, and CTOs, translating technical capability into clear business outcomes
Ecosystem Partnering (Co-Selliing)
- Partner Alignment: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Databricks and Microsoft (Azure) field sales, partner managers, and technical architect teams
- Co-Sell Execution: Leverage partner programs, funding mechanisms (e.g., Azure ECIF, Databricks proof-of-concept credits), and joint account planning to accelerate sales cycles
AI & Data Solutioning
- GenAI Origination: Identify and qualify high-value Generative AI use cases, ranging from enterprise search and LLM fine-tuning to advanced agentic workflows
- Modernize Data Estates: Guide customers on their journey from legacy data warehouses to modern Lakehouse architectures (Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure OpenAI)
🛠️ Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years of enterprise software sales, cloud sales, or technology consulting experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Ecosystem Expertise: Deep familiarity with the Databricks platform (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake) and Microsoft Azure Data & AI stack (Azure OpenAI, Azure Synapse/Fabric). Relevant certifications are a strong plus
- Sales Methodology: Mastery of value-based, consultative selling frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger) with experience managing consumption-based/usage-based revenue models
- Technical Fluency: Ability to comfortably bridge the gap between business leaders and data engineers, holding high-level architectural discussions without getting bogged down in syntax
- Collaboration: Exceptional co-selling skills with a history of successfully navigating complex multi-partner cloud ecosystems
