- Job Summary: The IT and ERP Executive is responsible for the overall management of the company's IT infrastructure and the coordination of all activities related to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role serves as the first point of contact for all IT and ERP-related matters, including system implementation, user support, and maintenance.
IT Infrastructure Management (40%)
● Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
● Manage the company's local area network (LAN), internet connectivity, and email systems.
● Ensure data security and implement backup and recovery procedures.
● Manage software licenses and ensure compliance.
● Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
ERP Coordination and Support (50%)
● Act as the main point of contact between the company and the ERP implementation partner.
● Coordinate all phases of the ERP implementation project, including requirement gathering, data migration, and user acceptance testing.
● Provide first-level support for all ERP-related queries and issues from users.
● Escalate unresolved issues to the ERP vendor and track them to closure.
● Develop and maintain user manuals and training materials for the ERP system.
● Conduct training sessions for new and existing users on the ERP system.
● Identify opportunities for process improvements through the ERP system.
Vendor and Asset Management (10%)
● Manage relationships with IT and ERP vendors.
● Maintain an inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
● Procure IT hardware and software as per the company's requirements and budget. Required Skills and
Qualifications:
● Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related eld. A diploma in a relevant field or demonstrated experience will also be considered.
● Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an MSME or manufacturing environment.
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficient in managing Windows-based environments.
○ Good understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
○ Experience with IT security best practices.
○ Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
○ Familiarity with any major ERP system (e.g., SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Tally. ERP 9) is highly desirable.
● Soft Skills:
○ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
○ Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
○ A proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently.
○ Good organisational and time-management skills. Work Environment:
This is a full-time, office-based role. The IT and ERP Executive will be expected to be on-site during regular business hours.
