Role Description The Role is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. It is specifically focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and candidate is responsible for strengthening, optimizing, and maintaining the organization’s already established ERP system.
The ERP Specialist will be expected to review the existing ERP framework, identify operational loopholes, correct system gaps, and reframe workflows wherever required to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control across key business functions including manufacturing, inventory, sales, purchase, finance, and other necessary operations.
The role involves analyzing existing business processes, understanding department-wise requirements, and translating them into practical and efficient ERP workflows, configurations, reports, and control mechanisms within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The candidate should be capable of evaluating current ERP usage, identifying underutilized modules or incorrect practices, and recommending improvements aligned with the company’s operational and strategic goals.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring ERP performance, resolving user-level and process-level issues, maintaining data accuracy and integrity, creating reports and dashboards, improving approval flows and documentation processes, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless ERP adoption. The ERP Specialist will also be responsible for training users, preparing SOPs, documenting system procedures, and working closely with management to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancement.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (SAP works as well), especially in a manufacturing environment, and should be able to independently assess the existing ERP structure, correct loopholes, and redesign processes for better control, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Business Process and Business Process Improvement, with experience mapping workflows and optimizing operations.
- 10–15 years of relevant ERP experience, preferably with strong exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, configuration, process correction, and post-implementation optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and ERP Software implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills, including data analysis, problem-solving, and translating business needs into system requirements.
- Ability to work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to align ERP functionality with organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in industrial, textile, or machinery manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Comfort with on-site collaboration and willingness to engage in continuous learning on ERP and industry best practices.
