Designation: Enterprise Account Manager-Govt/PSU
Location: Kerala, Noida, Chennai, Bangalore
Experience: Minimum 8 years of sales experience in IT infrastructure.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (preferred), MBA is an added advantage.
About the role: You’ll be driving government business, working closely with PSU and state/central departments to close large IT and cybersecurity deals. The role involves managing complex sales cycles and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Opportunity Management: Identify and close Government sales opportunities, driving revenue growth.
- Solution Selling Expertise: Demonstrate hands-on experience in selling IT solutions to PSU & Government Organizations, including:
- Data Centre technologies like Servers, Storage, Networking brands like HPE, Dell. NetApp. RedHat, VMWare, Cisco Aruba
- Cybersecurity Solutions brands like Crowd strike, Zscaler, Paloalto, Checkpoint
- End Point Computing like Workstation, Desktop, Laptops HP, Dell, Xerox
- Managed Services
- Executive Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-Level Executives in large Government & PSU accounts.
- Technical Coordination: Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and market dynamics to offer innovative solutions.
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure trends and market requirements.
- At least 5+ years recent experience in similar govt-facing roles.
- Skills:
- Strong ability to sell IT solutions like servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, laptops, and managed services (focus on cybersecurity).
- Deep knowledge of government procurement processes (how the government buys technology).
- Skilled at handling long, complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
- Ability to spot new business opportunities and close large government deals (80% hunting role + 20% farming role).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with C-level executives and government officials.
- Self-driven, independent, but also a good team player.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure trends (cloud, cybersecurity, data centers).
- Awareness of market requirements and industry dynamics.
