Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive based in Hyderabad to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets. This role requires a proven track record of closing enterprise software deals through strategic partner relationships and direct selling in the MEA/APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution
- Drive new customer acquisition and achieve quarterly/annual revenue targets
- Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through contract closure for enterprise data governance deals
- Build and maintain a healthy and clean pipeline
- Execute consultative sales methodology (MEDDPICC) to qualify and advance opportunities
- Drive compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer pain points and use cases
- Negotiate commercial terms and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
Partner Management & Channel Sales
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with system integrators, consulting firms, and technology partners across Middle East and Asia-Pacific
- Build joint go-to-market strategies with partners to drive pipeline generation and deal acceleration
- Manage partner-sourced opportunities through to closure, ensuring proper deal registration and partner engagement
Territory & Account Planning
- Develop and execute territory plans for assigned Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets
- Identify target accounts and build account penetration strategies
- Conduct market research to understand regional data governance drivers, compliance requirements, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with marketing on regional campaigns and demand generation initiatives
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in CRM
Customer Engagement
- Understand customer business challenges and position OvalEdge as the solution to data governance, compliance, and data quality needs
- Articulate ROI and business value in the context of regional regulations (GDPR, data localization laws, industry-specific compliance)
- Coordinate proof-of-concept engagements and technical evaluations with the solutions engineering team
- Build executive relationships with C-level buyers (CDO, CIO, CTO)
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of closing enterprise software sales and consistent quota attainment
- Proven track record closing deals through partner channels in the Middle East and/or Asia-Pacific markets
- Deep experience working with systems integrators, VARs, or consulting partners to drive revenue
- Experience selling SaaS, data management, analytics, or governance solutions strongly preferred
- Track record of managing 6-12 month complex enterprise sales cycles
Regional Expertise
- Established relationships with partners and customers across the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.) and/or Asia-Pacific (Singapore, Malaysia, India, etc.)
- Understanding of regional business cultures, buying behaviors, and decision-making processes
- Experience navigating compliance and regulatory requirements specific to MEA/APAC regions
Skills & Competencies
- Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate technical value in business terms
- Consultative selling approach with MEDDPICC or similar qualification methodology
- Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and sales productivity tools
- Strong negotiation and deal structuring capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate or advanced degree
- Experience selling to financial services, healthcare, insurance, or government sectors
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, NDMO, DPDP)
- Existing partner relationships with firms.
- Prior experience with startup or high-growth SaaS companies
