About the role

Entegris is a leading supplier of advanced materials & process solutions for the semiconductor, life sciences and other high-tech industries. They are seeking a Test Engineer Co-Op to assist with maintaining and updating custom Windows based production testers while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Support custom Manufacturing Execution and Software application, database, and hardware platforms on premises. Work with Lead Software Test Engineer to develop and release updated code on the test platform. Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues, both on production equipment and development machines. Review, improve, and document test specifications and procedures. Create, document, and perform verification tests on test system updates. Identify and analyze complex, cross-functional issues, and work towards effective solutions. Approach and involve the appropriate subject matter experts from other departments. Qualification: Currently enrolled student Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in July through December Familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program Must be familiar with soldering equipment and being hands-on with various mechanical tools Familiarity with reading, interpreting, and updating electrical schematics Graduation date of December 2025 or later Analytical/experimental problem-solving skills to understand hardware, software issues, and can quickly analyze and resolve system inter-operability problems Ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues throughout the organization
