Overview/ Job Responsibilities:
Sev1Tech (now Entarian) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Specialist with an administrative background and experience in compliance, audit readiness, Inventory Management Systems, and Government Property Management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property accountability, documentation integrity, and inventory management requirements while supporting the organization in maintaining compliance with all internal policies, contractual obligations, and external regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will support and execute property assessments, assist with audit readiness activities, identify discrepancies, and support the development, tracking, and resolution of corrective actions in coordination with business system owners and cross-functional teams. This role ensures all property records, transactions, and supporting documentation are accurate, traceable, and audit-defensible while maintaining continuous audit readiness and supporting the integrity of the Property Management Business System and property accountability processes.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready property and inventory records from receipt through disposition
- Manage property accountability transactions including receipt, issuance, transfer, inventory, and disposition activities
- Support property audits, inventories, assessments, and continuous audit readiness activities
- Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies while supporting corrective actions and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with GFP/GFE requirements, property controls, and contractual obligations
- Analyze property and inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational, compliance, and audit objectives
Location: Position can be supported remotely; preferably East Coast due to time zones
Salary Range: $50-70K depending on level of experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven experience handling military/government inventory property equipment
- Demonstrated understanding of property accountability and documentation requirements in an auditable environment
- Understanding of Property Management requirements, including CAP, GFE/GFP marking, and management from procurement/receipt through consumption or
- disposition
- Experience maintaining accurate and complete records to support inspections, audits, or compliance reviews
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention
- Experience working with inventory or property management systems (ie. GCSS-A/GCSS-MC) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong administrative, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior military experience (like MOS 92Y) or government supply/inventory management experience
- Familiarity with audit-driven environments such as property system reviews, internal audits, or compliance assessments
- Experience supporting Government Property Management audits or similar evaluations
- Knowledge of GFP/GFE accountability and compliance requirements (FAR 245-1 Government Property)
- Experience supporting corrective action tracking and resolution activities
