We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the federal sector. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and capturing new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on managing and supporting the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity shaping through award.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue federal opportunities aligned with company capabilities using tools such as SAM.gov and other market intelligence platforms
- Develop and execute capture strategies, including win themes and competitive positioning
- Manage and support the full proposal lifecycle (pre-RFP, RFP response, submission, and post-submission)
- Collaborate with proposal teams, technical SMEs, and leadership to develop compliant, compelling proposals
- Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
- Develop and manage teaming agreements with primes and subcontractors
- Maintain pipeline, support bid/no-bid decisions, and provide accurate forecasting
