Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management Foundation seeks a customer-focused Enquiry Handling Executive to manage incoming student leads for B.Tech, BBA, and MBA programs. This entry-level role responds to inquiries, qualifies prospects, and schedules counselling to support enrolment targets starting August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily inbound enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, website chat, and social media for STEM and management programs.
- Qualify leads by assessing student interest, academic background, entrance scores, and program fit (e.g., JEE for B.Tech, CAT for MBA).
- Log all interactions in CRM systems, update lead status (hot prospect/general), and maintain accurate student profiles.
- Schedule course counselling sessions with senior counsellors and send automated follow-up communications.
- Respond to common queries about fees, eligibility, campus facilities, international collaborations (UIC-USA, Babson), and admission timelines.
- Escalate complex queries (visa, scholarships, management quota) to operations team while providing initial guidance.
- Generate daily enquiry reports for supervisors, highlighting peak inquiry times, sources, and conversion opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; BBA/B.Tech graduates preferred.
Experience
- 0-2 years in customer service, telecalling, or education sales; freshers with strong communication welcome.
Skills
- Fluent English + Kannada/Hindi; basic CRM usage; MS Excel for reporting; pleasant phone demeanor.
Attributes
- High-volume call handling (50-80/day), patient, target-driven; available for rotational shifts including weekends.
