Founding Product Manager

I’m Sameer, the CEO of a start-up called Enitiate. We’re building a professional space for game dev and multimedia talent to find jobs and showcase their work on the same platform as recruiters and peers. (www.enitiate.gg).

Company Description 

Enitiate is a pre-seed and bootstrapped start-up. We are a team of 5 full-time members, 2 co-founders, and have a live working MVP with some early traction. We’ve been selected into the Game-X accelerator by D-Labs, ISB making us the top 12 gaming startups in the country. We have been incubated by Microsoft for founders and Xartup. 

We want to strengthen our team to build faster and better to match the vision of disrupting how work and careers in the games industry will function.

We’re solving the talent gap in the games industry. Game devs find it difficult to get hired due to inefficient tools for work management and job applications being disconnected. This fragmentation makes it difficult for recruiters to make data-driven hiring decisions to hire and build teams.

About the Opportunity : 

We’re onboarding a Founding Product Manager against equity only. You must have domain expertise and work experience in minimum 2 or more of the following : 

• Marketplace product ( AirBnB, Ola / Uber, Ola / Flipkart, Amazon / BMS  )
• B2B2C products ( ArtStation / Behance / Linkedin / PeerList )
• HR-tech / Hiring-Recruiting products 
• Game Producer / Game Product manager / Games x Tech products

Enitiate is a B2B2C open platform product in the talent discovery and recruitment segment in the game-tech / game dev space.

Being an early stage startup cofounder with high equity gives you the advantage of building long term wealth with the opportunity to create something of your own in the world.

Requirements : 

• Worked in a minimum of 2 domain/companies as mentioned above
• Have been a PM / designing and building products for 5+ years minimum
• Candidate must be present in India and willing to move to Bangalore when required*
• Willing to quit job if necessary and can sustain themselves financially for a year minimum
• Passionate about building products, starting-up and the games industry.
• Extremely serious about starting-up. Joining an early-stage startup as a co-founder can be a minimum 5-10 year long journey. Please consider your financial responsibilities, personal obligations and track record for being the right person to face uncertainty. 

Qualification & Skills : 

• Proven product work experience : 5+ years
• Background, education / certification in product management  
• Experience in designing and building a product from scratch 
• Experience in defining product vision and strategy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Bonus points: 

- Started-up in past

- Designed, built and shipped products with customers

- Worked in the games industry as a Game Producer or Game Product Manager

Responsibilities : 

• UX research, product and competition research, 
• product designing (features and flow) and roadmapping, 
• Writing PRDs, working with tech co-founders and building product from scratch with complete ownership
• Design and build MVP for a recruiting tool compatible with the game industry and skills.

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading the product development process, defining product vision and strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business goals from product ideation to market launch and reiterations. 

Why Now? 

The world is moving towards a more virtual direction and virtual worlds are the future of entertainment and work. The skills required to build these experiences originate from games but transcend industries.(think ARVR, games and metaverse)

Video games is the biggest entertainment market globally (> $300 Bn) and India is one of the fastest growing gaming markets (> $3.1 Bn)  !

There is an immense opportunity of solving the talent and recruiting needs to build virtual experiences.
