Role Description The English Tutor at LearnOn Academy will provide engaging, curriculum-aligned online lessons to learners of different age groups and educational systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive sessions, explaining English grammar and language concepts, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The tutor will adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles, maintain clear communication with learners and guardians, and update lesson plans based on performance and goals. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability for scheduled classes and online communication.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in English Teaching, Tutoring, and Online Tutoring to deliver effective one-on-one sessions.
- Proficiency in English Grammar and language fundamentals to support a wide range of learner levels.
- Excellent Communication skills to explain concepts clearly and build rapport with learners and families.
- Experience teaching learners from diverse curricula (CBSE, British, IB, Australian, US) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
- Comfort with online teaching tools, learning platforms, and basic digital collaboration software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules, and maintain organized lesson plans.
- Demonstrated patience, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered approach to teaching.
