Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an English TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) with 10 grade teaching experience at The Prodigies International School, located in Bengaluru. The role involves planning and delivering engaging and structured English lessons to middle and high school students, assessing and evaluating student performance, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities also include preparing lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, coordinating with other educators for interdisciplinary initiatives, and participating in school events and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in curriculum planning, lesson preparation, and classroom management
- Strong skills in English language teaching, including grammar, literature, and communication
- Ability to assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CBSE syllabus guidelines and standards
- Knowledge of integrating innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English with a B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification
- Prior teaching experience in 10th grade and similar roles is preferred
