Summary:

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments that promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Evaluate student performance through regular tests, projects, presentations, and formative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and respectful communication.
- Integrate technology and multimedia tools (e.g., smartboards, e-learning platforms) to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Collaborate with colleagues in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and school-wide academic initiatives.
- Engage in professional development activities and stay updated with modern pedagogical practices and educational trends.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities to support holistic student development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English (BA English) or a related field; B.Ed. (English) is preferred.
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed., CTET, or equivalent) as per state/central board requirements.
- Strong command of spoken and written English, with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and working with children in the 6–14 age group.
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and educational software for teaching and assessment.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative school environment with a focus on student success.
- Freshers with strong academic records and teaching practicum experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting classroom teaching during training or internship periods.
- Knowledge of CBSE/ICSE/State Board syllabi and assessment patterns.
- Participation in school-level teaching competitions, workshops, or language programs.
