Job Description: English Teacher
Location: Arsikere, Hassan, Karnataka
Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and last drawn salary)

Role Summary
An ICSE-affiliated school in Arsikere, Hassan is seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher who can inspire students to develop strong language, literature, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to create an engaging classroom environment while strengthening students’ reading, writing, grammar, and spoken English abilities in line with ICSE curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
Teach English language and literature as per ICSE curriculum guidelines.
Develop structured lesson plans, worksheets, and learning materials.
Improve students’ grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
Conduct assessments, assignments, and periodic evaluations.
Encourage creative writing, discussions, and critical thinking among students.
Prepare students for examinations and academic assessments.
Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Participate in school academic planning, events, and parent-teacher meetings.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English or related discipline.
B.Ed preferred as per school education norms.
Prior teaching experience in ICSE/CBSE schools preferred.
Strong command over spoken and written English.
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
