Role Description
We are seeking an English Teacher cum Storyteller for a full-time, on-site role based in Puducherry (Pondicherry). The role entails teaching English through storytelling using interactive techniques to engage students and build their confidence in listening, reading, and speaking. This includes planning and conducting lessons, creating stimulating learning activities, and fostering an environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and language proficiency in students. The candidate will also participate in educational activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching and Lesson Planning
- Experience in Education and classroom Teaching
- Strong Communication skills to engage students effectively
- Creative thinking and storytelling abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role or educational setting is a plus
- A passion for teaching and working with students of diverse backgrounds
