Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an English Teacher at Tiny Steps Learning in Hyderabad.
The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons for children, with a focus on reading, writing, grammar, phonics, sentence formation, and communication skills. The role includes creating interactive class experiences, adapting lessons based on each child’s learning needs, encouraging confident language use, and maintaining regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
The teacher will also support curriculum execution, prepare age-appropriate learning activities, and create a positive, patient, and child-friendly classroom environment where children feel encouraged to participate, express themselves, and improve step by step.
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in English teaching with a good understanding of foundational language skills, including phonics, reading, grammar, writing, and communication
• Experience in lesson planning and the ability to create structured, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences for children
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to adapt lessons based on individual student needs and learning levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for working with children and the ability to build their confidence in reading, writing, and communication
• Ability to create a positive, patient, nurturing, and child-friendly learning environment
• Educational background in English, Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
• Teaching certifications, phonics training, or child education certifications will be an added advantage
• Previous experience teaching or working with young learners is highly desirable
