Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher position based in Chennai. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering interactive and engaging English lessons, fostering an environment that promotes learning and development. The role includes preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, encouraging self-confidence, and involving in school events and co-curricular programs. Collaborating with other staff and communicating with students and parents is an essential part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in English Teaching and comprehensive knowledge in Education and Teaching methodologies
- Experience in Lesson Planning and curriculum development
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in English, Education, or a related field; teaching certifications are a plus
- Prior teaching experience, particularly with children or young learners, is an advantage
- Passion for inspiring a love for the English language and contributing to students’ holistic development
