Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Hyderabad. The English Teacher will design and deliver engaging English language lessons that build communication, comprehension, and critical thinking skills for school and college learners. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with Ignis methodologies, facilitating interactive classroom activities, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will integrate life skills, SEL, and employability-focused content into lessons, and may support specialized programs such as English for Employability or English and Life Skills Labs. The role also involves collaborating with school staff and Ignis trainers, participating in training sessions, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in English Teaching and general Teaching, with a learner-centered, participatory classroom approach.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including designing age-appropriate, activity-based learning materials.
- Background in Education, pedagogy, or related fields, with an understanding of school systems and diverse learner needs.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to engage learners and collaborate with colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related discipline; a teaching qualification or certification is an advantage.
- 3-4 Years of Experience teaching in schools, colleges, or learning centers, preferably with exposure to low-resource or diverse settings.
- Should be able to travel different locations within 100kms radius.
