Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an English Mentor. The English Mentor will guide learners in improving their English communication and comprehension skills through one-on-one and group sessions. Responsibilities include creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, providing ongoing support and constructive feedback, assessing progress, and tailoring teaching methods based on individual learning needs to help learners build confidence and fluency in English.
Qualifications
- Strong English language skills in spoken and written communication
- Proficiency in coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback
- Experience in educational or training roles, particularly in English language training
- Ability to plan lessons, adapt teaching styles, and personalize learning approaches
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse learners
- Familiarity with online communication tools and technologies for remote instruction
- Prior experience with language proficiency exams like IELTS, TOEFL, etc., is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communication, or a related field is preferred
- A passion for teaching and helping individuals achieve their professional and personal goals
- Experience of at least 2 years Spoken English mentorship.
