Job Title - Communication English Faculty
Job Type - (Full Time / Part Time)
Location - New Delhi
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an English Faculty position at the New Delhi campus of IIHM. Key responsibilities include teaching English language and literature courses, designing and developing curriculum, and delivering engaging lesson plans tailored to hospitality management students. The role also involves mentoring students, assessing and evaluating their performance, and contributing to the academic quality of the institution through resource development and participating in faculty meetings.
Job Description:
- Should be able to plan, schedule, organise, coordinate and monitor lectures & practicals
- Should be able to prepare course material & activities
- Should be able to prepare students on interview skills and Personality development
Qualifications
- Expertise in English Teaching and Teaching methodologies
- Education - BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MSc is a plus
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development and instructional design
- In-depth knowledge of Literature and English Literature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students in an academic setting
- Master’s degree in English, Literature, or related field (Ph.D. is a plus)
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in higher education or professional training
- Familiarity with integrating English studies into hospitality education is advantageous
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in English Subject.
