Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an English Drama Teacher located in Salem, Erode, Tiruchirappalli. The English Drama Teacher will be responsible for teaching acting and theatre skills, guiding students in performing arts, and delivering Koodam's dynamic theatre curriculum to students from Grades 1 to 12. Additional responsibilities include developing creative lesson plans, facilitating interactive sessions, and inspiring students to explore their creative potential through drama.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Drama, Performing Arts, and Teaching Acting
- Experience in Curriculum Development and designing engaging lesson plans
- Strong teaching skills, particularly for students aged 5-18
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire creativity and build confidence in students
- Enthusiasm for theatre education and a passion for working with children
- Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Education, or a related field is preferred
