Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our cutting-edge vehicle movement solutions across the UK. You’ll play a key role in winning new business, nurturing strategic partnerships, and ensuring long-term client success.


About Engineius

Engineius’ goal is simple: to make vehicle movement easy. We are on our way to creating the leading end-to-end movement solution in the UK for our customers (such as Hertz and The AA), delivered by our network of 600+ drivers and transport agents across the UK. Since going live in April 2018, we have acquired over 80 clients, many of whom can claim to be amongst the largest players in the UK automotive industry. We are already one of the largest competitors in our space but have ambitions to grow much further and we are crazy about sustainability, to date we have saved fleets over 10,000,000 tonnes of CO2. We are seeing our hard work paying off as we have won 7 awards, including Best Fleet Software three years in a row, a highly commended well-being award, two innovation awards, and one outstanding product of the year award. What You’ll Be Doing


·      Leading the charge on new business. Identifying, approaching, and converting clients in key sectors such as fleet, leasing, automotive retail and major corporate fleet operators.

·      Being a trusted advisor. Aligning our innovative solutions with customer goals and deliver real value from day one.

·      Building lasting partnerships. Ensuring a smooth handover from sales to onboarding and collaborate across teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.

·      Staying ahead of the curve. Using market insights and competitor trends to shape your sales approach and strategy.

·      Delivering results. Meeting and exceeding ambitious targets, all while growing and maintaining a healthy pipeline.


What You’ll Bring


·      A strong track record in B2B sales, business development, and account management. Ideally with exposure to the automotive, fleet, or SaaS sectors.

·      Commercial savvy, negotiation confidence, and a customer-first mindset.

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.

·      A proactive, strategic approach to managing relationships and uncovering new opportunities.

·      Confidence using CRM systems and tools like Microsoft Office to manage pipelines and track performance.
