Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Engineering Technician to support electrical and functional validation activities for advanced computing platforms. The role involves hands-on system setup, execution of validation test plans, data collection, and analysis across multiple engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Set up and configure x86 and NVIDIA SoC platforms for electrical and functional validation
• Install and manage thermal solutions, oscilloscopes, and power measurement equipment
• Execute validation test plans including:
o Stress testing
o Functional testing
o Power measurement testing
• Collect and manage data from a large number of systems
• Verify system logs, identify failures, marginalities, and outliers, and report findings to function owners
• Perform basic scripting tasks, including modifying existing scripts when required
• Execute test plans and collect data for chip screening and fusing activities
• Measure power and collect logs using DAQ and DMM tools
• Assemble and test x86 and GPU-based systems
• Execute test procedures in both Windows and Linux environments
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of hardware validation and system testing
• Familiarity with electrical measurement and lab equipment
• Basic scripting knowledge
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work with large datasets and system logs
Education & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication Engineering preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in system validation, hardware testing, or related engineering roles
