About the Role

The Engineering Manager– Automation will lead a team of automation engineers that are responsible for designing, developing, and deploying intelligent AI agents to deliver automation of complex workflows and automated incident response for Bank Command Centre.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of automation engineers.
• Design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents.
• Deliver automation of complex workflows.
• Implement automated incident response solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor automation engineers and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in automation engineering, AI systems integration, or software development.
• MUST have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence/ML engineering, with at least 1 year in Agentic or LLM-based systems.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams or AI deployment projects.

Required Skills

• Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI or automation solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAPI, LangGraph, OpenAI API.
• Deep understanding of agentic AI Frameworks, vector databases, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong grasp of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Good understanding of Databricks and Servicenow platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in designing and deploying agentic AI solutions.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement.
