Your Role
We are hiring an Engineering Manager to strengthen people leadership and enhance delivery capabilities within our organization in Bangalore, India.
In this key leadership role, you will shape team culture, develop people, and secure high-quality deliveries that support our global business needs.
You will lead a newly formed software engineering team in a dynamic environment with ongoing change. Your leadership will directly influence engagement, performance, delivery outcomes, and long-term capability within a truly international setting.
What You'll Do
You will focus on both people leadership and delivery accountability.
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for,
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to ensure engagement, performance, well-being, and long‑term capability.
- Own and execute team plans aligned with business goals, delivery commitments, and strategic priorities.
- Ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery expectations with global and local stakeholders.
- Drive and support the adoption of new ways of working.
- Be accountable for delivery outcomes in terms of quality, timelines, cost, and business value.
- Contribute to cross‑functional collaboration and strategic initiatives within the leadership community.
- Manage recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, compensation dialogues, and recognition.
- Conduct goal setting, performance follow‑ups, and development planning.
About the Team and Context
You will join a newly formed software engineering team in India that operates in a global, cross‑cultural environment.
The team collaborates closely with colleagues across multiple locations and functions, with opportunities to influence ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement.
You will also be part of a management team with other Managers, shaping leadership culture and practices across the organization.

- Proven experience as a people manager, including coaching, mentoring, and career development
- Experience owning or driving delivery responsibility
- Ability to plan, execute, and follow up on deliveries, including performance and capacity monitoring
- Experience working with Agile, DevOps, and/or SAFe methodologies
- Strong ability to adapt your leadership approach to different maturity levels and individuals
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Nice to have:
- Experience working in complex or technical environments
- Experience from global or cross‑cultural organizations
- Leadership or people development training
