About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to own the architecture, engineering execution, and technical direction of our AI-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform. The role involves both writing production code and leading a team of engineers.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of engineering experience, with 5–6+ years in architecture/solutioning
- Strong experience building and shipping production-grade systems
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Strong backend and system-design fundamentals
- Experience building AI/LLM agent systems — orchestration, tool calling, context management, evaluation
- Strong cloud/infrastructure experience, preferably AWS
- Experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, Fastify, Prisma or equivalent technologies
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing engineers
- Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot
Key KRAs
- Own and evolve the overall product architecture
- Build scalable and secure multi-tenant infrastructure
- Design and improve the AI agent and automation layer
- Write and ship 30–40% production code
- Maintain high code-quality and review standards
- Lead and mentor the engineering team
- Ensure CI/CD, uptime, deployment reliability and production stability
- Solve critical technical and production issues
- Build the team to independently own features within 4–6 months
- Ensure the platform can scale 10x without a major rewrite
