Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team building
Generative AI-powered SaaS products for enterprise finance.
In this role, you will operate as a
player-coach, driving architecture, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable, high-quality systems at the intersection of
AI, SaaS, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 6–10 full-stack engineers
- Provide guidance on system design, architecture, and development
- Drive adoption of AI/ML and LLM-based capabilities
Product Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery of core product areas
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance SaaS systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, AI/ML, and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and execution plans
Engineering Excellence
- Drive best practices in code quality, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery
- Promote TDD, code reviews, and modern engineering practices
- Enable adoption of AI tools and engineering productivity frameworks
Operational Excellence
- Ensure reliability, monitoring, and maintenance of AWS-based cloud infrastructure
- Focus on high availability, scalability, and multi-tenant architecture
Team Development
- Hire, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate technical direction, project status, and risks effectively
- Maintain alignment with leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including leading complex systems
- 2+ years of experience managing SaaS engineering teams (B2B/enterprise preferred)
- Strong experience with:
- System design and scalable architectures
- Microservices and distributed systems
- Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with modern tech stack:
- Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, Python
- Experience working with:
- AI/ML-enabled systems (LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data modeling (RDBMS / NoSQL)
- CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies
- Proven ability to:
- Lead and scale high-performing, distributed teams
- Deliver complex products in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad, Telangana
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FinTech or financial systems
- Exposure to Generative AI tools and emerging AI technologies
- Experience scaling engineering teams in startup or growth-stage companies
- Familiarity with enterprise integrations (SSO, email, APIs)
- Experience working with multi-tenant SaaS architectures
