You will serve as the strategic bridge between the engineering and product teams, translating technical constraints, trade-offs, timelines, and risks into clear business language for the executive suite. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on technical expertise, agile project management, and strong people leadership to navigate a fast-changing technology landscape.

Technical Leadership & Architecture- System Architecture: Prepare technical design documents and maintain an updated end-to-end architecture document, including an architecture decision matrix.
- Resilience & High Availability: Design high availability, failure, and recovery protocols for the platform to guarantee zero downtime.
- Observability: Design and implement multi-level observability across the platform, including application, database, infrastructure, and integrations.
- Problem Solving: Solve complex technical and engineering challenges, delivering appropriate solutions that align with business goals while staying within budget.
Product Alignment & Execution- Roadmap Collaboration: Coordinate closely with product owners and managers to jointly drive the product roadmap.
- Feasibility & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and action product features, user flows, and integrations, collaborating directly with the product team on implementation feasibility.
- Agile Delivery: Oversee technical project management using Agile development methodologies to ensure consistent, timely releases.
Engineering Excellence & Operations- Best Practices: Identify and implement engineering, coding, and testing best practices, while defining clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- CI/CD & DevOps: Design and execute robust 'build & deployment' processes rooted in CI/CD principles.
- Platform Stability: Maintain ultimate accountability for production issues, SLAs, defects, technical debt, and overall release stability.
- Infrastructure & FinOps: Define required cloud and on-premise infrastructure, plan budgets for future growth, and lead cross-functional teams to establish an operational FinOps framework (including AI infrastructure cost management).
- Change Management: Lead process design, continuous process reviews, and comprehensive change management practices.
Talent & People Management- Team Growth: Build, manage, and scale a team of proficient engineers, providing regular mentoring and technical guidance.
- Performance Management: Define, assess, and execute clear performance plans to foster continuous professional growth within the team.
Required Technical Skills & Experience- Engineering Leadership: Proven experience in talent management, technical project management, and leading engineering teams while remaining functionally hands-on with coding and engineering design.
- Full-Stack Proficiency: Deep expertise in transforming end-to-end platforms leveraging modern tools, including Node, Python, Next.js, MongoDB, APIs, REST Services, and microservices.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong experience with the AWS Cloud platform, multiple system integration techniques, and infrastructure budgeting.
- AI Engineering: Conversant with the broader LLM and AI ecosystem, with a distinct focus on AI engineering—specifically integrating AI into practical business solutions rather than just building isolated GenAI models.
- Security & Privacy: Robust understanding of data privacy, data security, and application security best practices.
