About The Role
Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team that builds scalable, secure, and reliable web applications end-to-end across backend and frontend. As an Engineering Manager, you will shape technical direction, accelerate delivery with modern AI tooling, and partner closely with product, design, and DevOps to ship cloud-native solutions that create measurable business impact.
What will you do at Fynd?
- Lead, mentor, and develop backend and frontend engineers while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance.
- Own the technical architecture and delivery of scalable web applications built with Node.js, Python, and React.js.
- Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability, and release management.
- Design and oversee cloud-native solutions on AWS using microservices, serverless patterns, and modern infrastructure practices.
- Ensure application security, performance, reliability, and maintainability across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into well-executed technical solutions.
- Champion the effective use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT for development, debugging, testing, and documentation.
- Guide technical decisions involving databases, system scalability, and platform evolution while balancing speed and long-term maintainability.
Some Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least some experience leading teams or projects
- Hands-on experience building and owning scalable web applications end-to-end
- Strong backend and frontend development experience with modern web technologies
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment on AWS
- Proven ability to conduct code reviews, guide architecture decisions, and ensure quality
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT
- Exposure to MongoDB and PostgreSQL in production environments
- Experience working in product-led, fast-paced, office-first environments
- Familiarity with security, performance optimization, and reliability best practices
- Experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and DevOps teams
