Internship Opportunity- Magnetic Systems & Halbach Array Design
At Caloreon, we are developing magnetocaloric refrigeration technology, a solid-state cooling platform aimed at redefining sustainable cooling.
We are looking for highly motivated interns interested in magnetics, simulation, and experimental engineering to work on the design and optimization of Halbach array magnetic systems.
Your work will involve
• Designing Halbach array configurations using permanent magnets (N52, N48, N42 and other grades)
• Engineering magnetic systems capable of 1–1.5 T field generation
• Performing multiphysics simulations using ANSYS / COMSOL
• Experimental validation of magnetic field distributions
This internship offers the opportunity to work directly on frontier cooling technology, at the intersection of magnetism, materials science, and energy systems.
We are particularly interested in candidates who enjoy solving difficult physical engineering problems and building real hardware.
