Hiring: Backend Engineering Intern (.NET)
We’re looking for a highly motivated Backend Engineering Intern (.NET) to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade systems in a collaborative environment.
Role Overview
As a Backend Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build, and maintain backend services that power real-world applications. You’ll gain exposure to modern engineering practices and scalable system design.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET / ASP.NET Core
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Frontend)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Required Qualifications
• Strong fundamentals in C# and object-oriented programming
• Basic hands-on experience with .NET or ASP.NET Core
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server architecture
• Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
• Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Educational Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering (B.Tech/MCA) or pursuing Post Graduation
• Final-year students or recent graduates/Post graduates are encouraged to apply
Good to Have
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP also fine)
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
• Experience with Entity Framework or ORM tools
• Basic knowledge of Docker or CI/CD pipelines
• Prior internship or personal projects demonstrating backend development
