CFD & Thermal Engineer

Responsibilities: Plan, set up, and execute CFD simulations to support various programs for systems like battery pack, motor, motor drive, chargers, hardware, and other electronic components. Run CFD simulations for heat dissipation & battery pack aging Evaluate cooling strategies: air, liquid, PCM for battery packs Design venting & thermal runaway mitigation strategies (active & passive) Give and develop solutions for thermal issues in the product Collaborate with CAD and FEA engineers to refine designs. Requirements: Proficiency in tools like Fluent, Star CCM+ Strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer Understanding of various systems and subsystems in EVs (battery packs) Experience with thermal management and aerodynamics in automotive contexts. Experience with the thermal architecture of battery packs for EVs
