Job Title: Engineer WAF (F5) L2
Job Summary
The Engineer WAF (F5) L2 will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and management of Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions using F5 technologies. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of web security principles and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement and configure F5 WAF solutions to protect web applications from threats.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to ensure optimal performance and security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements and provide recommendations.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide Level 2 support for WAF-related incidents and escalate issues as necessary.
- Document processes, configurations, and security policies for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications And Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in web application security, specifically with F5 WAF technologies.
- Strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities and security best practices.
- Experience with network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Technology Specialist) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
