Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager – Solar Inverter Manufacturing
Job Summary
Australian Premium Solar is looking for an experienced Manager/Senior Manager – Solar Inverter Manufacturing to lead the setup and development of our Solar Inverter manufacturing division. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in inverter assembly, production line setup, testing, quality assurance, and process optimization, with hands-on experience in SKD/CKD manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and development of Solar Inverter manufacturing operations.
- Develop and implement SKD/CKD assembly processes for string and hybrid inverters.
- Establish production lines, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Manage inverter testing, validation, burn-in testing, troubleshooting, and final inspection.
- Coordinate with R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Production teams for seamless execution.
- Support vendor development, product localization, and component qualification.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production and service teams.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, BIS, and applicable safety standards.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), production ramp-up, installation, commissioning, and technical support.
- Contribute to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Solar Inverter manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, inverter architecture, PCB assemblies, and system integration.
- Experience in SKD/CKD assembly and production line setup.
- Expertise in testing equipment, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, CAPA, and SPC.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with On-grid, Hybrid, and Off-grid Solar Inverters.
- Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Exposure to commissioning, field technical support, automation, and lean manufacturing.
