Your activities
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for direct and indirect materials.
- Conduct RFQ/Enquiry processes, prepare comparative statements, and finalize vendors.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and compliance requirements.
- Cost Management
- Perform cost analysis and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives through VA/VE, alternate sourcing, and supply-chain optimization.
- Maintain procurement budgets and track savings.
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Monitor vendor performance for quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Stores for supplier audits and assessments.
- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning delivery, quality, or documentation.
- Purchase Order & Contract Management
- Create and release purchase orders within defined timelines.
- Ensure correct specifications, documentation, and approvals.
- Track and follow up for timely deliveries and dispatch clearances.
- Coordination & Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with PPC, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Stores teams.
- Participate in project procurement planning and material budgeting.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain procurement data, vendor master, and material price records.
- Prepare MIS reports such as PR/PO status, delivery schedules, savings, vendor ratings, etc.
- Support internal and external audits (ISO, IATF, customer audits).

Your profile
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in industrial procurement
- Experience in vendor development and sourcing
