Role Description
Responsible for negotiating with contractors, ensuring that the company receives the best possible prices, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Qualifications
· Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate terms and conditions.
· Negotiates the best price, terms of payment, and purchase conditions taking into account trade and quantity discounts, tax exemptions, escalation, and other factors affecting costs.
· Follow up with new subcontractors and suppliers for the company and evaluate them to create competition that benefits the company in terms of quality of work and access to the largest financial return for the company.
· Correspond with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients concerning shipments, shortages, price changes, changes in specifications, drawings, substitutions, rerouting, etc.
- Fosters and maintains good relations with present and potential subcontractors, professional organizations, and other individuals who may influence the business activities of the Company
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement roles.
