What Is The Role
Technical Information and Data is responsible for managing a wide range of engineering data and information. This includes among others identifying the user needs regarding data and analysis, providing consultation on sources and quality of data, on data definition, on data warehousing, on methods of data management, and providing training/supporting users of technical data
What You'll Be Doing
- Integrate subsurface data types such as production, pressures, etc. to present meaningful insights.
- Visualize, Analyze and present Reservoir data and prepare Reports for sharing on time for various review process.
- Perform data management tasks including diligent Quality Checks, highlighting data gaps and engaging with assets / REs to improve.
- Participate in RE network and share key achievements and challenges.
- Working with multiple stakeholders, tools and workflows.
- Demystify the process complexity and identify simplification opportunities.
What You Bring
- Strong aptitude for Learner Mindset and Continuous Improvement mindset.
- The successful candidate ideal has a University Degree in Geoscience, Reservoir engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Data Science or relevant with 2 years of relevant experience within Oil and Gas industry.
- Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities and manage multiple Projects/Programmes.
- Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions.
- A good understanding of the Upstream/DS/IG business and how it works.
- Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to challenge and ability to build internal and external relationships based on trust and to integrate across multiple functions.
