Your impact
Position Engineer - Piping Stress (Auto PIPE)
Work Location Navi Mumbai
We are looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to work on Electronics projects and be responsible for performing analysis and design of various piping systems.
- Perform pipe stress analysis in AutoPIPE
- Select pipe supports from standard vendor catalog and/or from internal support database
- Design new pipe supports to meet the design requirements (available space, loading, expected travel, etc)
- Perform additional calculations such as nozzle loading checks, trunnions checks, weld checks, etc
- Create all the pipe stress deliverable
- Collaborate with piping designers and structural engineers
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- At least 2 years of engineering experience
- Knowledge of pipe stress analysis and support design
- Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience with pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II
- Experience with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD
