IT Support Specialist
Years of Experience: 1-3 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on support for our organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user technologies. The ideal candidate will ensure high performance, reliability, and security across various platforms, including Windows and macOS environments. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues, as well as a strong focus on user support and IT asset management.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows and macOS environments, including Okta, Office 365 applications, and collaboration tools.
- Support users with essential IT services such as VPN, identity and access management, single sign-on, and endpoint security.
- Monitor and support security platforms, including Carbon Black (or similar EDR) and Mimecast or similar email security solutions.
- Manage users in Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Support and maintain the IT asset lifecycle, including imaging, deployment, and device health compliance.
- Assist network engineers with on-site support for network infrastructure, VPN setup, and basic troubleshooting.
Mandatory Skills
- MAC OS troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Okta for identity and access management.
- Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Office 365 applications and collaboration tools.
- Basic understanding of End-Point Security Tools.
- Good communication and reday to work in US shift
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and VPN setup.
- Familiarity with Asset Mgmt. processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
