The Engineer II, Software is an experienced professional who participates in leading, creating and extending Omnicell products. This person is a highly skilled developer who can apply industry and corporate best practices to produce quality applications. This person applies their practical and theoretical knowledge from Computer Science and previous experience in healthcare or a related industry. This person works as part of a team to design and develop new products as well as maintain Omnicell’s current portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to build C++, C# .NET software application for ADC (Automated Dispensing Cabinet) dispensing workflows using OOPS and design patterns.
- Write unit tests with mocking for reliable cabinet inventory and access controls.
- Very good in debugging skills, Assist in Windows troubleshooting for ADC (Automated Dispensing Cabinet) hardware-software integration.
- Contribute to Agile sprints with ad-hoc testing for point-of-care safety.
Required Knowledge And Skills
- 2-5 years in C++, C#, .NET Framework, Windows application development.
- Solid OOPS/design patterns and unit testing.
- SQL Server/Dapper for ADC data management.
- Follow Agile methodologies.
Preferred
Web API, MSMQ for real-time cabinet alerts, Microservices Architecture, Angular
