Senior Engineer – Field Service (Projects) Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in HVAC piping design, chilled water systems, plumbing, fire line execution, and HVAC control systems
- Hands-on experience in primary & secondary pumps, thermal storage systems, and accessories
Job Summary
- Lead design, development, and execution of liquid cooling systems for data centres with strong thermal and fluid engineering expertise
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery
- Lead end-to-end execution of liquid cooling projects from concept to commissioning
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) for project delivery
- Review and approve designs ensuring quality, compliance, and accuracy
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively
- Execute HVAC chilled water, plumbing, and fire line piping systems
Design & Development
- Lead design of chilled water piping systems including sizing, layout, and material selection
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system performance analysis
- Develop and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Creo
Testing & Validation
- Develop and execute test plans for cooling system validation
- Analyse test data and optimize system performance
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements
Service & Operations
- Apply strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics in projects
- Manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and field issue resolution within SLA
- Implement service bulletins and ensure system reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
- Maintain proper technical documentation and reporting
Preferred Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical or Piping Engineering
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE and ASME standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, CAESAR II, and BIM tools
- Experience in energy-efficient and sustainable system design
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Proven track record in successful project delivery
