Collibra Workflow Developer
Experience: 4–6 Years
Location - Hyderabad
We are looking for a
Collibra Workflow Developer with strong hands-on experience building workflows using Collibra’s workflow development dashboard, Groovy scripting, and REST APIs. The ideal candidate should have solid technical workflow development experience and a good understanding of business process flows. While deep data governance framework experience is not required, familiarity with governance concepts is preferred.
This role is ideal for candidates who are technically strong in workflow automation and want to grow further into Data Governance and metadata management areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Collibra Workflow Development (Primary)
- Develop, configure, and deploy workflows using Collibra Workflow Designer.
- Implement workflow logic using Groovy scripting, script tasks, and service tasks.
- Automate stewardship, approval, metadata population, and exception-handling workflows.
- Build and optimize workflow process flows based on business requirements.
- Technical Integration & API Work
- Integrate Collibra with enterprise systems using REST APIs.
- Design API-based service tasks to fetch and update metadata, lineage, or operational data.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, logs, and deployment issues.
- Business Requirements & Testing
- Collaborate with business and governance teams to gather workflow requirements.
- Translate process flows into technical workflow designs.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and workflow validation.
- Provide documentation for workflow logic, use cases, and configurations.
- Collibra Platform Support
- Support configuration of domains, communities, asset types, roles, and responsibilities.
- Assist in implementing components of the Collibra operating model.
- Provide support for enhancements, upgrades, and feature improvements.
Required Skills
Must-Have
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience in Collibra workflow development.
- Strong experience with Groovy scripting and BPMN workflows.
- Solid understanding of workflow development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Good working knowledge of REST APIs and integration use cases.
- Ability to gather business requirements and convert them into workflow logic.
Nice-to-Have / Growth Areas
- Basic exposure to Data Governance concepts (policies, ownership, metadata, stewardship).
- Experience collaborating with business users to shape Collibra landscapes.
- Understanding of metadata management, lineage, glossary, or data quality concepts.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Informatica, Snowflake, or other connected platforms.
Soft Skills

- Good communication and requirement-gathering skills.
- Ability to work with both technical and business teams.
